Gertie

Gretchen "Gertie" Hirsch is a blogger, author, and pattern designer with a love of all things retro (think rose prints, full skirted dresses, and crinolines). She is the author of four sewing books and the designer of Patterns by Gertie, a line of vintage-inspired designs with Butterick. She has appeared on the PBS series Its Sew Easy, and she loves to teach sewing to others in person and online. Gretchens fabric line brings her unique sensibility to life in a perfectly fun and feminine collection.
