Always pre-wash flannelette fabric prior to sewing.
Due to possible shrinkage from first wash, it is recommended that you acquire approximately 20 cm more fabric than your pattern requires.
Press your flannelette on the reverse side of the print prior to cutting, a starch spray can be beneficial when cutting.
It is recommended that you use sharp scissors or a large bladed rotary cutter when working with flannelette.
Use a sharp universal 80/12 needle and polyester or cotton thread.
