This linen is suitable for loose-fitting garments.
DO NOT pre-wash before cutting and sewing.
DO NOT iron or dry clean this fabric - always allow to dry flat or on a hanger.
Follow the grain line of the fabric when laying out pattern pieces prior to cutting.
Use scissors or a rotary cutter.
Accurate marking is essential for your linen pattern, use marking pencils and tracing paper to detail features such as darts or pleats.
Use pins to hold your pattern together for sewing.
Use your preferred thread and new universal needle: 90/15 or 100/16.
Sew with a shorter stitch length.
Serging or zig zag stitch can be beneficial for seams.
Ensure to hang your handmade garments after wear to maintain its crinkle.
