Always prewash your flannelette fabric prior to sewing
It is always best to buy more fabric than the pattern requires to be on the safe side with flannelette it is recommended that you purchase approx. 20cm more than the pattern requires
After washing dry in a dryer on a high heat setting
Press your flannelette on the reverse side of the print prior to cutting, a starch spray can be beneficial when cutting
It is recommended that you use sharp scissors for cutting your flannel pattern or if using a rotary cutter use a large blade
Use a new sharp universal needle 80/12 and universal thread
