How to clean roman blinds

Roman blinds can be cleaned in the same manner as most roller blinds. You can vacuum them with a dedicated attachment, or simply wipe them down with a damp cloth. How do roman blinds work

Roman shades work with a simple design - a single piece of material that gradually folds as the blind is raised. The folds are stitched in place, reinforced with wooden or plastic dowels at the reverse of the blind. Cords are threaded vertically down the back of the roman blind, connecting the dowels. A pulley system at the top of the blind allows the blind to be raised and lowered, folding and unfolding the shade as the cord is pulled.

How to measure for roman blinds

Before measuring for roman blind you'll need to decide if you want to mount the blinds on the inside or the outside of the window frame (aka recess fit or face fit).
