GLUE AND SALT PUFF PAINTINGS
LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Cardstock for painting on (we used white)
- Elmers glue, in a squeeze bottle with a nozzle
- Table salt
- Liquid watercolour paints, or food colouring
- Paint brushes
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Draw designs on your cardstock using a thick, even line of glue.
Step 2- Pour salt over your design so that it is fully covered, then tip excess off into a bowl, tapping gently.
Step 3 - Dip a brush into your desired colour of paint, and gently touch it to the saltcovered glue. Watch as the colour spreads like magic.
Step 4 - Experiment with placing different colours near each other and observing how they blend as they join up, and the new colours they create.
Step 5 - Allow to dry, then display!
