WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• '4 Seasons' Marvel 8ply 100g x 1 ball 1st Colour (C1) red, 1 ball 2nd Colour (C2) Fuschia, 1 ball 3rd Colour Green, 1 ball 4th Colour (C4) Sea Gold and 1 ball 5th Colour (C5) Purple.
• A 4.50mm crochet hook, or size required to give correct tension.
• Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

Garland Length (approx) cm 120cm

TENSION

1 motif measures approx 7cm x 7cm at widest and longest points, using a 4.50mm hook.

INSTRUCTIONS

GARLAND

Heart Motif

Using C1, make a magic ring.

1st round - 3ch, 15tr into ring ... 16tr in all.

2nd round - 3ch, 1tr at base of 3ch, 4dtr in next st, 2tr in next st, 1htr in each of next 4 sts, (1tr, 1dtr, 1tr) in next st, 1htr in each of next 4 sts, 2tr in next st, 4dtr in next st, 2tr in next st, sl st in same st.

Fasten off.

Make a 2nd motif in C1, then 2 motifs in each of C2, C3, C4 and C5 ... 10 motifs in all.

FINISHING

DO NOT PRESS. Using 4.50mm hook and 2 strands of C, make a length of chain 120cm long. Fasten off. Attach hearts 8-10cm apart as pictured beg and ending 20cm in from each end of chain.
