WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 4 fabrics - Cut 2 triangles from each fabric (see notes for size)
- Wadding - cut 48cm square
- Backing - cut 48cm square
- Cushion Back - Cut piece A: 20cm x 48cm, cut piece B: 31cm x 48cm
- 46cm zip
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Using a piece of card make a template by drawing a 24cm square. Cut the square in half diagonally and you have your triangular template for cutting fabric. Trace the template onto the wrong side of the fabric and add 6mm seam allowance on each side. Cut out the triangles with added seam allowances.
Step 2 - Sew 2 triangles together, making a square. Press seam open. Make four squares. Sew left hand top square to left hand bottom square. Press seam. Repeat for the right-hand side. Sew left- and right-hand sides together, making sure points of triangles all line up neatly in the centre. Press seam.
